Ostara and the Hare, is inspired by the folklore of a Germanic goddess Ostara. As she begins to wake up the world from winter she finds a little bird who is nearly frozen to death. Unable to warm him she turns the bird into a hare so he can hop away. The Hare is extremely grateful and lays colourful eggs for Ostara.
