  • Achlys- Mist

'Achlys', the Greek Goddess of the Mist of Death. She is the Personification of sadness, misery and the eternal night.
As I started drawing her, I noticed a beauty within her. Alike the Death tarot card, she is seen as scary. With her flowing dress, I see her as a symbol of powerful transformation and new beginnings. A sign of personal growth, renewal and the cycle of life and death.
She is a sign to let go, like the trees that loose their leaves, or the pheonix born from the ashes. She brings with her the chance to let burdens die, the starting point to begin again and grow
  • Urania

Urania, the Greek goddess of astronomy and astrology, and one of the nine muses of song, music and dance.
Within the image you can see Urania dancing within the cycle of the moon phases. The constellations flow on her dress.
She is a sign to ask for guidance, from the heavens, ancestors or those close to you.

  • Ladies of the Lake

There are many stories about ladies in water. This piece was inspired by the folklore ‘Jenny Greenteeth’. A cautionary tale to keep children away from bodies of water, which Jenny would pull them in.

This piece gives me a sense of yin and yan. A lightness to the dark. The ladies of the Lake form a sense of balance. The water flows between them, showing that life can change. There are hidden depths within this piece.
The ladies are saying to you to find balance and keep your wits about you.
